Creative thinking with fours (part of assignment 2)

4. Think of a way to use four fours with any of the basic operation symbols (+, -, etc) or square roots to express the number 2 and the number 3. You must use exactly four fours and no other digits. Example: To express 1 with four fours, we could do (4/4)(4/4)=1

Square Root 4 * 4 - 4/4 = 3

4 squared = 16 ---- 16 - (4+4) ---- 8\4 = 2

(4x4)/(4+4)=2

((4x4)-4)/4=3
